Mine

I have this theory about the jewelry I make.  I think each piece calls its owner.
This piece found its person during last weekend's show.  It was love at first sight, I do believe.
This piece, full of gorgeous drusies, also found its home.  The piece matched a Drusy ring that the purchaser had.  What a lovely set.
Alison, who made lovely feathered earrings for the sale, got this necklace.  She put it on and - Mine!  It was hers.

There's this connection that happens when a piece finds its home.  I feel it, almost like a click.  You can see someone's demeanor change.  The woman stands straighter.  Is somehow brighter.  I call it magic.  And it fuels what I do.

  1. I love the idea of each piece choosing its owner! I'm always afraid to let my work go because I get so attached to it, but if it went to someone who loved it as much as I do, that would be awesome. :)

Beautiful pieces, by the way. The first one is my favorite -- I love the green!
