Dream Board

Every year, usually right after Halloween, I make a new dream board.  A collage of what I'm hoping to accomplish, bring to me.  It'll be Winter break before I get a chance to do 2014's visions, so I'm going to take the next few weeks and consider what I accomplished from this year's dream board.
I feel good about where my jewelry business is headed.  Sales have been steady all year.  And I've started to play with some new designs that I'm really excited about.

We're making some improvements to the house.  New windows (more about that in another post).  I painted my bedroom and we'll paint the kitchen over break.  While we dream of having a bit more space, this house seems to expand to whatever we need of it.

I'm happy with my studies, though I am SO over taking classes on subjects I have no interest in, as well as meeting the unrealistic demands of professors.  Very very ready to write my comps beginning this spring and then start formally working on my dissertation.  Very grateful to be teaching at Olivet.  I so wish this could be a full time gig.

It'll be interesting to see what lies ahead, what I can dream up for the future.
