I'm trying

I am trying to find joy in winter.

But, honestly, I think it's buried in almost 100 inches of snow.

Between teaching and assisting and classes and writing and driving on really slippery, windblown roads, I'm barely keeping up with the shoveling.  Very little energy for anything else.  Haven't picked up a beady project since December!  Haven't even sorted through my Arizona purchases.

Soon.  I have picture-taking time scheduled for this week.  I WILL find my joyful!

  1. Winter can be so stressful. I can understand not finding too much joy in it! Just driving in the snow freaks me out -- 6 years in Illinois have softened my Vermont driving skills.

If you don't have a lot of energy for beading, how about curling up with some heavy blankets and a good book? And maybe some hot chocolate and snuggly kitties? Replace kitties with dolls, and this is my survival tactic. Hibernation.

    Here's to tamer weather!
